Uncovering Capabilities

Participants at the Resident Organization Leadership Institute discussing their training assignment. They
learned how to improve their leadership skills and best practices for success.

We bring about healing through a process known as trauma-informed care, so people can discover their capabilities. A person needs to be healed before they are able to learn, change, and grow, and become increasingly self-sufficient.

SET works with people to guide them to identify and achieve their own goals. One goal leads to the next goal and reassures them of their ability to solve a larger problem. We channel resources to people that align with their goals. They grow in confidence and resiliency. Over time, with a high frequency of interaction and encouragement, they develop the skills that bring about sustainable change.

SET works with children, parents and grandparents to development skills in
  • communication
  • decision making
  • problem solving
  • conflict resolution
  • emotional regulation
  • impulse control

SET programs and services empower people to overcome their adversity with the skills and resources to redefine life for themselves and their children.
