Each year, SET honors three individuals making a difference in the Milwaukee Community. These awards recognize individuals in the community who embody the spirit of our founding principles: Service, Empowerment & Transformation.

Service Award recognizes a person who strives to fill identified gaps or unmet needs among persons who are socially and economically disadvantaged.
Empowerment Award recognizes a person who helps individuals and families become empowered to achieve control over their life situations, and/or promotes economic or community development which benefits disadvantaged persons.
Transformation Award recognizes a person who strives to help persons and systems express fuller reverence for human dignity and justice, and/or promote systemic change for improved services and community development, and/or more just distribution of resources.
